Shipping and Returns

Shipping

Here at Velveteen Candle Co. we are happy to offer USPS shipping on orders with tracking numbers. Currently we don't ship internationally. We ship via Shippo so our customers know that their packages are shipped in a timely and reliable fashion. 

 

Please be sure to double check all of your shipping information when placing your order. Once your order has been fulfilled, we are unable to make changes. If your order has not been fulfilled yet and you made a shipping information error, please contact us immediately at velveteencandlecompany@gmail.com.

 

Process Time

Our processing times typically range between 5-10 business days and domestic shipping times ranges between 1-7 business days (excluding Sunday and holiday rush periods). Velveteen Candle Co. is not responsible for any import or customs fees.

 

Cancellations

To cancel an order, you must let us know within 2 hours of when the order was placed. We will do our best to cancel any order after this period but once the shipping process starts we can no longer cancel the order.

 

Returns and Exchanges

Due to the nature of the items, our products cannot be returned or exchanged. In the event that you should receive a damaged or defective item, please contact us at velveteencandlecompany@gmail.com for assistance with your order and we will be happy to remedy the issue.  

 

Failed Delivery or Lost Order

If your order is lost during delivery

Please not that we are not responsible for any lost items.

We can understand that sometimes things can get lost along the way.

If your package was marked as delivered by the mail carrier, but you have not received it, please make sure to double check that you have input the correct address in your initial order. If there is an error, your order is most likely on its way to us. Sometimes when an order is being sent back to us, it might take a bit for us to receive it. Once your order is back in our hands, we can ship it back with an additional shipping charge to resend.

 

If your address and information are correct, please check with your local post office. 15 days after the initial delivery, you will be able to file a missing mail search with USPS. We will need for you to share this search ID in order to assist you further.

 

Failed delivery

If your order is returned to us due to failed delivery, we will re-process your order. Please note that we are not responsible for the second shipping fee if the order was returned due to an error on the customer's part.

 

Incorrect Address

As it is the buyer's responsibility to provide the correct address when placing an order, it is also our responsibility to ship to the address provided to us. Please make sure to input the correct shipping address when placing your order.

 

If you notify us about the incorrect address before your order has been fulfilled, we will try our best to correct it for you. Our shipping provider has been dealing with difficulties changing the shipping addresses, so in the case that our shipping provider still can't change the address, we will refund you and give the option of repurchasing with the correct address. Please understand it is difficult to guarantee we will be able to modify your order so please email us ASAP after you notice the wrong address was provided. Once it is shipped, it is out of our hands.
